"Beginnings" . . . First Church's Membership Process

Journey is a good word to describe our Christian life. Whether you are exploring faith, have been a Christ follower for a while or want to take that next step spiritually, we invite you to an introductory gathering of "Beginnings." This six week experience will focus on what it means to be a Christian in the Wesleyan spirit, as well as, inform you about local church membership if you so choose. Christian Believer: Knowing God with Heart and Mind

Do you wonder about Christian faith and want to understand why we believe what we believe and do the things we do? Do you desire God's wisdom to impact your life in a more powerful way? Have you asked how Scripture, Church Tradition, Reason and Experience relate to your daily Christian walk? How is your story and faith part of the ongoing story of the people of God?

Join us Sundays, at 6:30 PM in room N210-211 for a small-group experience that will help us know God with both our hearts and minds. Christian Believer is 30 sessions and will be offered in four 7- to 8-week sessions in the spring and fall of 2013, co-led by a team of five.  Financial Peace University

Rid yourself of all debt and build real wealth today! Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is a Biblically-based curriculum that teaches people how to handle money God's way. This course will be offered again in the fall. All are welcome to register for this course.
