In 2006, leaders of the various ministry teams were discussing challenges they were having in ministry caused by limitations in our physical facilities. Out of these discussions came a resolution, passed by the Church Council, to establish a Facility Study and Vision Team. The Team is charged with seeking God’s will and discerning the structural needs for the ministry of our church in the years to come so that we may improve our physical facility to house our ministry in the most effective way.
In 2008, our church will celebrate 50 years in its current location. What will we need to do to prepare for the next 50 years? That is the question we have been asking our ministry teams, Sunday School classes, small groups, and congregation.
The first phase of our study was to solicit input from the members and stakeholders in our church family, and listen to their thoughts, ideas and concerns. It is not too late to share your opinion! If you have not already done so, please download the facility survey and turn it into the church office.

Our next steps will include:
Visit other churches that have recently been built or remodeled
Consult with a church architect / planner
Present our findings to Church Council with options for further action
